What is this "Retail Delivery fee" on my invoice (Colorado customers only)?

On July 1st, 2022 the State of Colorado instituted a mandatory "Colorado Retail Delivery fee" of $0.27 for any purchase in Colorado that is delivered in any way.  The statute also requires that it be added as a line item to every invoice "requiring delivery". 

Please be aware that this is a fee that goes directly to the State of Colorado Department of Revenue and we are required to charge it (more information here- https://tax.colorado.gov/retail-delivery-fee).  However, currently any order that has "Local Delivery" as the shipping method should be exempt.  If the fee is added to a Local Pickup order, please let us know at info@timewellspentgames.com and it will be corrected.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you all for your patience while we work out the kinks of who gets charged this and who doesn't.

Do you offer Local Pickup?

Absolutely!  After you are done shopping, go to your shopping cart and select the "Local Pickup" next to the check out button.  Complete your check out and the system will take care of it from there (please note you will need to pay all applicable local taxes).  Also be sure to use the code "LocalGamer" at checkout to receive an additional 10% off with Local Pickup as the delivery option.  Please note, the code is only valid for Denver Area residents.  If you are from out of town and want to arrange local pickup drop us an email or text/call the number below and we can work it out!

Local Pickups are done, by appointment, at the Columbine Plaza Shopping Center (6509 W Ken Caryl).  Please note, that arrangements MUST be made prior to coming.

I ordered multiple copies of items and my order was cancelled, why?

We at Time Well Spent love games and want to spread that love by offering discounted board games for people to enjoy with their friends and families.  Our agreements with our distributors forbid us from knowingly selling to anyone seeking to resell on other marketplaces.  If we suspect you will be reselling our products (usually based on the quantity ordered) we will cancel the order in full, minus any credit card processing fees we have incurred (3%) from the order.  If you believe this was done in error or have any concerns or questions about this policy, please don't hesitate to call/text at 303-862-1224 or email us at info@timewellspentgames.com.

Why am I being asked to provide proof of my identity?

We strive to protect our customers (and ourselves) from fraudulent activity as much as we can.  There are times that our shopping software flags orders as potentially fraudulent.  If this happens we will attempt to contact the customer through the information provided on the order and verify identification.  If the customer is unable or unwilling to do so the order will be cancelled and a full refund issued.  We hate it as much as you do and apologize that it is necessary in today's e-commerce world.  

Do you offer free shipping at a certain level?

With current shipping costs and our extremely small size, we are unable to offer a free shipping option at this time.  Hopefully things will return to normal soon.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

My order came in an Amazon/PADI/ACD/Target box, what gives?

We try to run our company as green as possible.  To do so we recycle as much as we can, including boxes and packaging.  As long as a box is in good shape and will protect the items within we don't hesitate to re-use it and encourage our customers to do the same!  

What company do you use to send orders?

If a certain company is selected during checkout (UPS/USPS), we will use them.  Standard Shipping can be either USPS or UPS. Addresses with PO Boxes may not qualify with Standard Shipping, additional charges may apply to ship to PO Boxes.

Do you offer Price Matching?

We strive to price everything as competitively as possible.  However, if you find an item at a lower price somewhere else, please contact us and we will match the price to the best of our ability with the following conditions:

  • The item must be in stock at the other site and must be the same version as what we offer.  
  • We do not match sale prices.
  • We will price match multiple items, however prices will be matched from a single site/store.  
  • We do not match the shipping prices.
  • Price matching for local pickups may take into account shipping from other sites.
  • Coupons, sales and discount codes cannot be used on price matched items.
  • Some items may be exempt from price matching. 

When do orders get shipped?

We strive to fulfill orders as soon as possible.  Orders are usually shipped out to you within 48 hours (barring any world-wide crises).  Some exceptions may occur during busier times.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Sure.  Just give us a call and we can place the order over the phone.  

Can you hold an order until a specific shipping date?  

 We will happily ship your order on any date you specify, within reason.  Just drop us note or give us a call. 

Do you accept any forms of payment other than credit cards?

Yes.  If you want to use cashier's check or check please just give us a call and place a phone order with us.  Please be aware that with personal checks we will hold your shipment until the check clears (usually 5-7 business days after receipt).

What is your Return Policy?

All items must be returned within 14 days of receipt. The following applies to all returns:
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • The item must be in the same condition that it was delivered in.
  • The item must be in its original packaging, unopened. (i.e. Shrink-wrap intact, sealed booster packs, etc.)
  • You must email us within 14 days at info@timewellspentgames.com or call us at (303) 862-1224, to request a Return Authorization Number. You must include this number with a return to receive a refund or credit.
  • You are responsible for shipping costs. If you are returning an item due to an error on our end, we will reimburse return shipping costs (USPS or UPS ground only) after the item has been received.
  • We recommend that you insure your shipment. You will not be reimbursed for an item that timewellspentgames.com does not receive.
  • All returned items are subject to a 15% restock fee, this will be waived if the return is due to an error on our end.  This fee will also be waived if store credit is chosen rather than a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued as soon as the item(s) are received in original condition. For orders paid with international cards, we will refund the full amount paid for the items. We will not reimburse exchange rate fees. 

Can I cancel my order?

  • Of course!  Email us at info@timewellspentgames.com or call/text at 303-862-1224 as soon as possible.  As long as the order hasn't shipped yet we can cancel the order and return the full amount paid. For orders paid with international cards, we will refund the full amount paid for the items and shipping only, exchange rate fees are not refundable.
